ST E report 02.19.09

Thank God for a wonderful time of reaping and sowing of souls. It has been a wonderful time of sharing of God’s word to the people along the streets. Thank God for the many who came and who were encouraged deep down in their hearts! Praise God for everything that transpired tonight!

After our opening prayer, we went our separate ways to witness along Orchard Road. The Lord directed Daphne and Amelia to a couple sitting by the side of the pathway. Both of them were so willing to hear of Jesus’ love and accepted Him as their personal Saviour thereafter! It has been tremendous blessing to see the Lord work and reign!

The Lord empowered Hock Chia, Eugene Yeo and Shekinah into taking steps of faith to share to a Mandarin speaking guy. This truly encouraged the heart of Hock Chia as he saw the Lord used him to share Truths using Mandarin as we’re not very fluent in Mandarin and God chose that weak area to show Himself strong in the lives of His people!

Thank the Lord for leading Alvin and Malcolm to this guy who has no assurance of salvation though attending a church faithfully for six years! Praise God for opportunity to meet and encourage him with the Word of God and to re-assurehim of his relationship in Christ. It has been a amazing moving of His Spirit as we see the reaction of this guy initially not really interested to making the step to recommit his life to the Lord!

God is good, to allow Cassandra and Jessie to have a long good chat with two directors from Media Corp with regards to their salvation. The Lord opened up their hearts to speak of their struggles and views. He gave us opportunity to share with them the full Gospel. It has been a blessed time of sharing though no decision is being made. Lessons were learnt for us as the Lord spoke to us the importance of casting our all to Him.

It has been a wonderful night for Michelle and Catherine as they met a Bangladesh lady who heard the Gospel and commented the importance of Christians to live out the Truth. Such deep truth coming out from the mouth of a non-believer blew the mind of both of them! It truly taught us a lesson to walk the talk and be an authentic Christian worthy of His gospel.

As we step out this night, we saw how the Lord led us to different people, pointing out the importance of being a good testimony wherever we go. It is indeed a great lesson for us to learn, as we live this life, may we never forget to love all our families, friends, colleagues, strangers with the love of God and to treat each one with pure love. Praise God for everything, and for everyone who came!
