St E report 01.29.09

Praise the LORD for wonderful time of sowing and reaping the Gospel seeds! Thank GOD for two individuals ushered into His Kingdom tonight and His Divine appointments with the people along the streets! God is good, all the time!

Thank the Lord for the opportunity to reach out to different groups of people with interesting mindsets. The Lord led Ian to a group who believes that they’d never told a lie or committed any sin. It brought us back into a reality to commit everything and everyone to prayer and trust the Lord to work in hearts. God led Ian and Xiu to a lady who wanted to make an arrangement for Ian to meet up with this lady’s leader in a religious cult. Please continue to pray for this to come to pass and for the Lord to work in the hearts of the lady and the leader who will be meeting up with Ian in time to come. Praise the Lord for meeting up with her and opportunity to build bridges!

Praise the Lord for using Rei to minister to a Japanese lady who’s not proficient in English. The Lord was good to direct this lady to Rei as Alvin and Melody happened to talk to her and she did not understand English but only speaks Japanese. Thank the Lord we are a team and is able to pray for one another and support each other in time of need! Let us continue to pray for this lady and may she come into a loving relationship with Jesus Christ!

It has been an interesting experience for Jeremy as the sharing time started when he lost his bible and was found by a stranger who happened to pass by. He had a connection with this person and began witnessing to this guy. Thank GOD for using the lost bible to lead him to this guy, who’s very interested and attentive. Invitation to visit us was extended. It has been very encouraging for Jeremy as he experienced the boldness in sharing and clarity as Dawn prayed throughout the time of declaration. Praise the Lord for everything!

God showed Himself strong to Jiahao and Chiawen as they took steps to share the Gospel to a 47 years old uncle. He gladly received Jesus Christ as His Savior after hearing the full gospel! It has been a great encouragement for Jiahao as he mentioned, “It has been sometime since I came for street E and I have been debating with God if I should come. I am glad I came!” Let us continue to pray for this uncle to grow in the Lord and come to our church to grow in HIM!

All praises returned to the Lord as Eugene and Amelia had great opportunity to share the Gospel to a teenager who accepted Jesus Christ as His Savior! It has been a Divine appointment for them! Let us pray for this youth that God will open the door for him to come to church as he’s facing opposition from his mum in attending church. May friendship forge continue to blossom even though he may not be able to come to church initially, we may go to him and have a meal with him outside church!

Thank God for opportunities to speak to many today, tracts given and smiles exchanged. Let us continue to pray for all who heard and may Jesus name be lifted high all the time!
