St E report 10.30.08

Thank God for yet another night of wonderful sowing and reaping. Our Lord indeed is good and long suffering, not willing that any should perish but all to come to repentance! We praise the Lord for all who came and labored, and how the Lord blesses our hearts as we lift Jesus Christ up!

It was a fruitful night for Teresa and Ivan as they went together to minister to a pair of siblings, both young at age of whom one was reassured of her decision in the Lord. It is very heart lifting for Ivan as he mentioned that: “God just presented the opportunity for me on the spot when I did not anticipate it.” Thank God for bridge building opportunities and for them to be interested in coming to church. Praise the Lord for bringing Ivan to be a blessing to us, and be a blessing to the people along the streets!

The Lord led Jonathon and Catherine to a lady and praise God for simple opportunity to share of His love. It was just so wonderful to be able to be a part of His plan at this very night to meet this lady, pointing her to Jesus Christ Himself. Let us continue to pray for this lady who heard of His word, that it would set her free in His time.

Thank the Lord for using Eugene and Daphne to reassure the hearts of the teenagers whom spoke to. It was wonderful to be able to be sure of our statues before God, and praise the Lord for doing that work this very night on the teenagers where they both approached! Indeed, the word of God is powerful!

What an amazing leading when God led Dawn, Jiayi, Jessie to this auntie sitting by the side of the streets. As He gave us opportunity to speak to this auntie, there came her son and his friend. It was wonderful when the Lord led Dawn to speak to the auntie in Mandarin and Jessie and Jiayi as they spent their time with the boys. It was a wonderful time of sharing when the Lord brought Mimi to join us. The Spirit of the Lord worked in the hearts of one of the boys and he recommitted his life for Jesus Christ! Indeed, God is pleased! And this young boy came to our church on Sunday to worship God together with us in SCGS! God is good, all the time!

Praise the Lord for wonderful night of sharing, watching how the Spirit works as we talk to people, all praises and honor returns back to our loving Savior! Indeed, what a friend we have in Jesus! He is awesome.
