St E report 11.13.08

Thank God for another Thursday and for holding back the rain while we’re out witnessing for his honor and glory.

Thank God for Dawn, Mimi, Cat, Teresa, Kok Hwa, Jonathan from BFC and Malcolm who came out tonight.

Cat, Ter & Dawn first encounter for the evening was lady “R”. She was in a lousy mood as her boyfriend was late, praise God that regardless of her somewhat rude attitude, Cat manage to share the Gospel. Thank God for the opportunity to learn of His love for everyone and please pray that her heart will be softened and she’ll come into a living relationship with Jesus.

Our three faithful soulwinners then proceeded along the street when one of them noticed girl “S” who was on the phone. Upon her completing her call, she was handed a tract and the opening conversation was turned into a Gospel presentation opportunity. Girl “S” was stumbled by her fellow brothers and sisters-in-Christ. Bible verses and personal testimony were used to encourage her. The meeting ended with a prayer for “S” to seek God again. Invitation extended for her to visit our church.

Malcolm & Mimi had the opportunity to spend the entire evening building bridges with 3 young ladies from a different faith. Praise the Lord that they are open to hearing the Gospel and are seeking. Lady number 3, thou is quite rooted to her religious beliefs, is still open to hearing God's Good News, and permission was given for Mal to share God's word to the ladies from the Bible. Invitation extended for Vibe & Sportlight. Ladies are open to coming. Do continue to pray for their salvation.

Kok Hwa & Jonathan spoke to a Hindu security guard who’s on his last day at work and will be returning to Malaysia to take over a friend's business. Thank God that the full gospel was shared, and a Malaysia address was provided for follow up.

They met a teenage boy, and thank God for the blessing to reassure him of his salvation. Their 3rd encounter was “M” a prodigal son, knows the doctrine well, but is lead astray by the world. Thank God that he is seeking and hungry for God's words. He agreed to visit BFC this Sunday. May the Lord lead him back to His Kingdom!

Thank God for an opportunity to co-labour with Him again!!!
