St E report 02.05.09

God is good, all the time! It was a blessed and fruitful time serving the Lord tonight together with many youths and adults He brought along: Teresa, Michelle Ong, Daphne, Chang Shou, Alvin, Mimi, Nini, Hock Chia, Amelia, Catherine, Beverly, Lester, Dawn, Jay, Aika, Xiu Ying, Shekina, Malcolm and Jessie. What a beautiful time of worshipping our Lord with our lives as we step out in faith to share with the people about Jesus Christ! Praise the Lord for three souls coming into His kingdom!

The Lord indeed knows the lives of all of us as He plans our steps. Chang Shuo met his army instructor and God opens the door for Daphne to share of His love to this precious soul. It is amazing how the Lord directed their steps and allowed them to meet on the street, because of the friendship forged way before between Chang Shuo and the instructor that makes the hearing of the gospel more acceptable for this precious friend! Let us continue to pray for Him and for Chang Shuo to continue to be a light in the camp for Jesus Christ!

God led Teresa and Michelle into meeting yet another friend of Alvin on the street, and He opened the door in sharing the Gospel to this two friends they met. It was a blessed time of sharing and liberty in declaring His Word, at the end of it all, both of them gladly received Jesus Christ as their Savior! What a glorious time it is! Let us continue to pray for these two friends for them to come to our church to grow in the Lord!

Along the street Michelle met a lady standing aside and she walked towards her, passing her a tract for her to read. This opens the door in sharing the Gospel in Mandarin to this dear lady. The Lord worked it all out and convicted her heart in the need of the Savior! This precious lady gladly came into the kingdom of God as she bowed down in prayer. What an encouragement it is to all of us! Praise the LORD!

There on the other side of the road, Hock Chai and Alvin took steps of faith though fearful initially. The Lord blessed their labor and led them to a man who heard the full Gospel! So long as the seed is sown, the Lord will work it in the person’s heart! Praise the Lord for chances to step out in faith and share of His love. A tremendous encouragement for both of them is the man at the end of it all, applauded for their short illustration! Indeed, God is good all the time!

The Lord led Xiu and Shekinah in assuring of a lady’s salvation using His word. It is a blessed time of sharing and chatting. At the same time, Beverly and Catherine thank God for chances to give out tracts and talk to people!

It was another amazing time as the Lord led Amelia and Jessie to a middle-aged lady who is open to the gospel. Gospel was shared and she is interested in reading the bible! God definitely worked in her heart and as she seeks the truth, may her accept the true and living God for her life! God did a special work in both our hearts as well, as He spoke to us about our elderly loved ones who may be old and needs of Jesus. Let us be a light in our families and extended families and be a good testimony at all times!

It is a great time of sharing, a time of reaping and God working in our hearts as well! Praise the Lord for an awesome night.
