St E report 01.15.09
Thank God for a cool evening breeze as we gathered at 6:20pm for prayer. What a blessing for us to commune with our Heavenly Father before we engage the enemy. Thank God for His victory on the cross. Praise the Lord and the Heaven rejoices as two individuals received Christ this night! Thank God for empowering using two teenagers to lead the precious souls into His arms! The Lord led Teresa and Ray to shared the Gospel with liberty to a 15-years-old girl. Thank God for convicting her heart of sin, His righteousness and coming judgment! At the end of it all, she bowed her head and received Christ as her personal Lord and Savior! What an encouragement for Teresa as she experienced God’s sufficient grace when she lost her train of thought while witnessing. May this youth comes to our church to grow in the Lord and be discipled!
At the very same time, the Lord led Chiawen and Russell to a 21-years-old Indian national. God empowered Chiawen to witness for Him and thank God for wisdom to clear her doubts. Like the 15-years-old girl, the Indian lady too received Jesus Christ as her personal Lord. Thank God for encouraging the hearts of our young soul winners!!! Invitation to visit our church was extended. Please pray for this dear lady to be led to a church where she can grow in His grace! Praise God for Russell taking the step of faith to share to a guy and giving out tracts to people. It is so encouraging to see God work!
The Lord led Daphne and Martha to witness to a Chinese national in Mandarin. He showed Himself strong in enabling our mandarin-deficient soul winners to simply communicate His love and truths. Thank God also for the Christian friend of the lady being ministered to who’s been actively reaching out to her friend. Our dynamic duo later had the blessing and privilege to reassured two ladies of their salvation they made years ago. What a wonderful feeling to be a blessing to our fellow brethren-in-Christ.
God is so good to direct Eleanor and Jessie to these two ladies taking a break after work. During the conversation, they found out that Daphne had witness to the both of them three years ago and they remembered the Gospel message. It was so encouraging to know that His Word indeed will not return to Him void and praise God for openness in them to share of their struggles and problems with us. Thank God for bridges built and at the end of it all, sharing of the Gospel again to clear some of their doubts. One lady mentioned, “I will try to believe in Jesus one day”. It was so encouraging to hear this! Let us remember them in prayers, and may they come into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ soon! Praise the Lord for Eleanor taking steps to give out Vibe calendars and striking conversations with people!
Praise the Lord for opportunities to share of His love for everyone in the team. God is good, all the time. We are so excited to see how God will work from here, the people we spoke to, accepted Him and bridges built. It is so exciting to be serving our Lord!
