St E report 10.23.08

Praise the Lord for a night of sowing and reaping! The power of His Spirit indeed manifested Himself tonight, hearts were being touched by Him, and 3 individuals gladly received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord! Thank God for bringing in brethrens from BFC to join us in serving our Lord!

The Lord led Catherine and Ivan, a teen from BFC, to a couple who seemed very interested in hearing the Gospel. It has been an encouraging experience for Ivan as he said, “It is very encouraging to know that people are willing to hear of Jesus Christ.” Another lesson he learnt is, “It is important for us to step out of our comfort zone.” Indeed, the harvest is plenteous; but the laborers are few, this is yet one of the reminders the Lord had for us.

Praise the Lord for using Daphne and Rei to speak to many people, and divine appointment came when the two people they witnessed to accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior! It is amazing how the Lord work, His Spirit indeed is working all the time, seeing the expression changes for these two people, just reflect the goodness of our God. May they come not just into the saving knowledge of Jesus, but grow in grace with our Lord. Thank God for these two precious ones.

Thank God for leading Jessie and Mimi into this young man selling pens. Conversation went beyond pens, but how God can pen our lives if we allow Him to. Indeed, there is full liberty to share, at the end of it all; he received Jesus Christ into his heart! It is indeed a wonderful privilege to witness how this man changes from not believing to embracing. Mimi said, “God is so powerful”, indeed, He really is.

Thereafter, they met this lady sitting on the bench. Conversations were exchanged and gospel being shared in depth. Thank God for contacts exchanged, and for her to agree to come to church on Sunday! Indeed, God is awesome; she came on Sunday for service, stayed and fellowship with our people in church, and planned to get a bible for herself! Let us continue to pray for her salvation, as God works, let us continue to love through His Spirit!

Thank God for leading Dawn and Malcolm to share and talk to people along the streets, contacts exchanged, seed sown, what a blessing to be a part of His plan! At the same time, the Lord led Eugene and Jonathon to groups of people to share of His love, and lesson the Lord taught both of them is this: “Always be led by His Spirit, and be wise in our speech.”

Tonight is another amazing night, where God shown Himself strong to us.
