St E report 03.27.08

Praise God for yet another day to praise Him for working in hearts of men and opportunity to simply declare His word! Thank God for people we met along the streets of Singapore, so thankful to Him for the many chances to bring forth a smile to the people He has in plan for them to meet us!

Thank the Lord for leading Jeremy and Catherine to some people along the streets who are very willing to receive the tract and even hear them sharing the gospel. It was a great time of sharing for both of them to this young man, where they spent almost an hour to share with Him about the love of Jesus. Praise God for open heart to hear; let us continue to pray that he will take the step to believe in time to come!

Thank the Lord for having opportunity to talk to a young foreign worker, and the conversation that He allowed us to have. Thank the Lord for even the chance to give out the gospel tract and praise the Lord for bridges to be built across. May the Lord bring Him into our midst in time to come.

The Lord then led Malcolm and Jessie to give out gospel tracts and they met this man in mid thirties who was sitting at the park near Plaza Singapura. It was an interesting talk between both parties, and as the talk progressed into spiritual things; prayer is the only key to break into sharing about God. Thank the Lord for our access to Him through prayers and God being so gracious to lead us to this man, whom we believe has a lot of struggles and difficulties and deception in his life and thinking. Indeed, we wrestle not against flesh and blood. The reality of battle dawned upon us and as we talk, thank the Lord for leading Malcolm to say the words He desire him to say, and praise the Lord for even this simple chance to see our Lord do His work. May we continue to pray for this man’s salvation, which the Lord has been so good to allow us to meet him.

It has been wonderful and amazing to be walking along side our Lord. May the Lord pour out His Spirit upon us, this land of Singapore so in need of a revival.
