St E report 01.04.08

“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” –Colossians 1:16-17

Praise the Lord for the subject verses! Indeed our Lord is before all things, and through Him we can have life more abundantly! Praise the Lord for yet another new year in Him, and the wonderful start of year 2008! It has been a great time sowing and reaping! All praises and thanks to God who reigns and is always so willing to bless! Praise the Lord for two professions of faith this very night! Heaven rejoices and the saints are encouraged!

Praise the Lord for the people out sowing seeds for His sake. Thank the Lord for Teresa, Weiwen, Abigail, Alvin, Malcolm, and Jessie who were out to witness the amazing power of His Spirit. It has been so wonderful to start this year out sharing the love of God!

The Lord brought a lady to Teresa before starting out to share His Word. Thank the Lord for Teresa’s gentle and kind gesture in helping this lady and the opportunity to give praise to Jesus Christ. Thereafter, He led Teresa and Weiwen to give out tracts and thank the Lord for opportunities to share the gospel with two guys who are so open to hear. It was an amazing time for Weiwen as He took the step to share to a guy. Praise the Lord for giving them opportunity to declare His word, His love and His way to heaven.

At the same time, the Lord led Abigail and Jessie to a guy who was sitting just outside the MRT station. Thank the Lord for them crossing their paths, and his openness in hearing the Gospel. It was an amazing time of sharing, as questions were asked and answered, and thank the Lord for placing Christians along this young men’s path to point to him to Jesus Christ. Low and behold, this young man decided to place his trust in Jesus Christ alone! Praise the Lord for working in His heart, His plan for this young man’s life and him taking that very step to surrender his life to Jesus! What an amazing God we have!

Thank the Lord for using Alvin and Malcolm to talk to a few guys and gave them tracts to read. Praise the Lord for leaving His precious words for us, for His word is so powerful! Thank God for leading them to speak to a group of guys where one particular guy is interested in hearing. May the words brought forth continue that deep work in their hearts and one day they may accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour. It was also a step of faith for Alvin as he took this very step in coming out to be a part of God’s work for the very first time!

It has been a night of thanksgiving and wonderful time of sharing. Praise the Lord for in Him, all things indeed consist!
