St E report 12.05.07

Praise the Lord for yet another night of sowing of seeds and seeing how the Lord worked in hearts is truly a very blessed night for all! Thank the Lord for bringing in Catherine, Hock Chai, Abigail, Malcolm, Jessie and Jean this very night to witness the power of His Spirit. It has been a great encouraging time for all!

Thank the Lord for steps of faith for Catherine and Hock Chai as they approached an old man sitting alone at the side of the MRT station. Indeed the Lord met them at their step of faith, the old man seemed to be disinterested at first, but read the tract with attentiveness thereafter. Let’s continue to pray that the words read will continue to do a deep work in this elderly heart.

Then the Lord led them to a lady who is just sitting near the steps of the bus stop. God opened the door for them to share the full gospel to her, and thank God for this liberty to simply lift up Christ and share His love. Praise the Lord for Hock Chai’s very first step of faith in speaking to a teenager about Jesus Christ! It was his first time in initiating a conversation and sharing about Jesus Christ! Though there is no profession of faith, lifting up Christ is just so lovely and wonderful, for we know that His word will not return to us void!

Praise God for leading Abigail and Malcolm around the streets of Plaza Singapura in tracting and simply praying and encouraging people to read the tracts given. It was at the open space outside the Cathay Theater where the Lord gave them an opportunity to share to a guy sitting alone drinking. The opportunity came when the guy initiate a conversation with Malcolm as he sat beside him deliberately. It was a blessed time of sharing as bridges were built, and Christ’s love was shared simply. Thank God for open hearts, and even preparing the man to simply hear about our dearest Lord.

The Lord then led Jessie and Jean to two young teenagers of different faith. There is liberty in sharing about Jesus Christ, even personal struggles. Thank the Lord for this wonderful time of sowing seeds, lets’ continue to pray that the seeds sowed will be reaped in due time. It was a blessed night of sharing for both of them, as the Lord led them to two groups of people, with full liberty to share the full gospel. May we continue to pray for those who heard about Christ to accept Him as their personal saviour in His time.

It was just another amazing night of sowing seeds, with every tract given, smiles exchanged and every personal contact with everyone, is just so precious, and all in His mighty plan. Praise the Lord for this day!
