St E report 01.11.08
Thank the Lord for yet another fruitful night of sowing and reaping another soul into His Kingdom! It was a night of answered prayers! Thank God for Jessie, Alvin and Malcolm who came out.
As we gathered for prayer, we noticed a middle aged lady sitting by the curb outside the many restaurants along the Atrium at Dhoby Ghaut. Immediately after our opening prayer, Jessie took the step of faith and handed her a Gospel tract. Upon interacting with her, we realized she’s from China and as we communicated with her, she shared she’s here to witness her daughter’s graduation from a local university and she’s been here for a month. She was fretting over the future of her daughter when we approached her.
Thank God for her willingness to listen to Jessie as she shared with madam D about God’s love and plan of salvation for us all. When asked the Netcaster’s key question, madam D shared she’s an atheist but was willing to hear what Jessie has to share.
Madam D made the decision to receive Christ into her life after Jessie took the time to read with her the Mandarin Gospel tract. Praise the Lord for her step of faith!!! When asked where she’ll be if she were to die many years from now, madam D gave a resounding “Heaven” and when asked where she would be if she died outside His Kingdom, she solemnly said “Hell”.
We invited madam D and her daughter to visit our Mandarin worship on Sunday and she seem keen. Please pray that His Spirit will lead and direct madam D to a church in Shenyang, China where she’ll grow in love and faith for our risen Lord and Savior!
