St E report 02.21.08

Thank the Lord for a wonderful time of sharing and His abundant blessings! Praise the Lord for two precious souls who came into the kingdom of God this very night! Heaven rejoices and saints were encouraged watching how the Lord work!

Thank God for bringing Teresa, XiuYing, Rogan, Abigail, Jessie, Catherine and Malcolm coming out to this very night onto the streets of Singapore to be a part of this work. It has been a fruitful night for all, and thank God for His Spirit who leads and guides all the way.

The Lord led Teresa and XiuYing to speak to a Filipino lady who was very receptive of hearing His Word and made a decision to accept Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour.! It was such an encouragement to hear the simple prayer of this lady, and may the Lord continue to work in her heart, and bring her into the assembly of His people in our church!

Then the Lord directed XiuYing and Teresa to a Canadian tourist. Thank God for her receptive heart. She was very open in hearing what it takes to be saved and knowing that Jesus Christ saves, she willingly open up her heart in depending on Jesus Christ alone to save her! It was also her last night in Singapore before flying back to Canada the nect day. God’s timing is so perfect!!! What an amazing time of sharing, indeed, God is gracious!

It was a special night for Rogan, Abigail and Jessie as they spent most of their time this night with a young man serving the army. Thank the Lord for this young man’s openness in sharing his struggles in life and thank God for this chance to assure him of his salvation from His Word. Praise the Lord for bridges built, and hearts open to hear, let us continue to pray that this young man will come to church as he indicated interest in visiting our church the coming Sunday!

The Lord led Malcolm and Catherine to speak to a few people. God led them to speak to two girls though not very interested to hear the gospel at initial stage, heard the full gospel at the end of it. Thank the Lord for opening doors to proclaim His Word, for when Christ is lifted up, He is glorified and will draw all men to Himself. Let us continue to pray that His word will continue to work in the hearts of men.

Praise the Lord for He lives! Praise the Lord for souls saved, gospel shared and hearts touched by His word. Indeed, we serve a risen Saviour !
