St E report 11.22.07

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”-John 1:1

Thank the Lord for giving us His word, giving us Jesus Christ and His Spirit. It was such a wonderful night to be able to share His Word to people along our paths, to hand out a simple tract for men to read, for His Word is powerful and able to pierce through the hearts of men.

Praise the Lord for all who came to be a part of His work: Lester, Rogan, Huishan, Catherine, Siqian, Samantha, Chiawen, Abigail, Malcolm and Jessie. Praise the Lord for leading and guiding us to the people on the streets!

The Lord led Lester and Samantha to groups of people who received Gospel tracts. Thank the Lord for softening the hearts of a couple they’d approached who initially seemed resistant to hearing the Gospel but did hear the complete presentation of His Love and Salvation for us. Thank God for working in the hearts of men. Praise the Lord for bringing Malcolm and Rogan at the right moment to this couple as the guy had some misconception of our faith. The couple had an amicable parting with our 4 soul winners. An invitation to our church was extended as well so do pray for His working in their hearts and His leading them to a God fearing and Bible believing church. Thank the Lord for bridges are built, may the Lord continue to work in their hearts and bring them not only to church, but to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ! It is such a joy to simply bring forth the love of Christ!

Praise God for bringing Huishan and Chiawen, taking steps of faith to give out tracts and giving them open doors to share the full Gospel to a lady. It was indeed led by Him as there is full liberty in sharing, and thank the Lord for every opportunity to lift up Christ for He will bring all men to Himself. Let no men despise thy youth, indeed His word stands and thank the Lord for using youths to touch the hearts of older adults on the streets.

It was such a blessing to be able to witness the power of His Spirit first hand as He led Jessie and Abigail to two young ladies sitting at the steps outside Plaza Singapura waiting for their friends to come. Thank the Lord for their attentiveness and it was such an encouragement to our hearts as there is total liberty in sharing. May the Lord continue to bless their heart with His Word and encourage them to take steps of faith to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour!

There after, the Lord brought them to two foreign ladies working in Singapore to share the love of Christ! It was amazing how the ladies were looking for a church to worship in Singapore and God just allowed our paths to cross to invite them to our church! The invitation to our church was extended so let us continue to pray for open doors as both of them had work schedule which falls on Sunday as well. Praise the Lord for reassuring one of the lady’s salvation and the chance to share the full Gospel to the other lady as well!


The Lord then led Siqian and Catherine to the people whose heart is ready to hear the Gospel. Praise the Lord for giving them opportunity to share the full gospel and pray that bridges built will be kept and through it they will get to know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour in time to come! Thank the Lord for encouraging the hearts of Siqian and Catherine as they take steps of faith and witness the opportunity to share the full Gospel!

It is always a joy to share Christ love to people! May the Lord continue to help us to be sensitive to His leading and always be thankful for all the blessings He had given us. Every seed sowed is precious, for His word is always powerful, and our God is always so real!
