St E report 04.25.08

“The Great Commission is not an option to be considered; it is a command to be obeyed”- Hudson Taylor. Thank the Lord for His reminder that His great commission is not an option, and will definitely bring a smile to our Lord if we’re obedient to His commands.

Thank the Lord for drawing in men to serve our almighty heavenly Father this night! Praise the Lord for bringing in Teresa, Catherine, Abigail, Malcolm, Rei and Jessie to witness the working of God this night. Praise the Lord for many opportunities to share, to give out tracts and just bringing forth a smile to the people on the streets.

Thank God for leading Malcolm and Teresa to speak to a lady who is so willing to hear of His Word. The lady is so receptive in hearing the word of God; it is indeed the working of His Spirit! Praise God for using Teresa to be a blessing to this young lady, may she come into the saving knowledge of God in time to come. Praise the Lord for bringing in Rei to join Malcolm and Teresa in the venture of faith this night, where the Lord opened doors for them once again to share to two polytechnic students who heard the full gospel. All glory given to God, for His promises are dependable!

The Lord then led Catherine, Abigail and Jessie to two ladies who fell off from a motorcycle at the side of the road. Thank God there were no serious injuries. Thank God for the chance to just check on them, with short conversations exchanged. Praise the Lord for an opportunity to give a tract to them, leaving our contacts, just before they drove off from the road.

Then God led the three of us to the cinema where we met two foreign ladies. Praise the Lord for opening doors to share the gospel in depth, and assuring one of the ladies salvation. Thank the Lord for placing us there and may the contacts exchanged bring us to another step in time to come! Praise the Lord for their willingness to hear, and chit chat with us even when the gospel sharing ended.

It was an encouragement to Catherine as God led her to share to two ladies waiting for the movie to commence. Gospel was shared simply and the two ladies were so willing to hear. May the Word of God do a deep work in their heart where no men can do! We trust that God will because He is Almighty!

It was such a blessing to witness the grace of our Lord as we step out to share His word. What an excitement to be walking with our God and seeing Him work!
