St E report 05.31.07

Thank the Lord for wonderful opportunities to come and witness His working and the joy in the simplicity of sharing His love to the people on the streets! There is no profession of faith made, but everyone we met were Divine appointments as we started with prayer asking the Spirit of God to lead and trusting him that all we met whom heard His Word will be blessed by God.

Praise God for Malcolm and Cheryl who approached Nepalese couple who seems to know quite a lot from the Bible but did not place that trust in Jesus Christ yet. It has been a challenge to the hearts of the couple as Gospel is being brought forth in simplicity, trusting that God will do that work in hearts of men. Indeed, when Jesus is lifted up, he will bring men to His side. Praying that the couple will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Walking on the streets of people rushing about, a teenager in the ministry who has been unable to join us shared that she is being challenged to the urgency of the second coming of Christ and that people is in need of hearing the love of Jesus. Decision had been made to want to stay close to God and redeem the time as life is short on this earth. Praise the Lord!

Praise God yet again for many divine appointments to meet people of different faiths willing to hear the gospel with open hearts. Though no decision made, it has been a great time of sharing with liberty and joy, knowing that His word will not return void.

Please keep praying for a lady whom two of us met who seems to be intellectually challenged upon our initial contact, but may reflect something more serious upon conversing with her thereafter. Tracts were given to her and gospel shared to her. It is deem so precious as God has been gracious to allow all men to hear of His love and the need of our Savior. Please pray that she will come to church as bridges had been built, trusting that “the kings’ heart is in His hand”, He will turn a heart around anytime he desire.

Praise God for a wonderful and special night of lessons learnt, hearts challenged and laborers encouraged.

-Jess
