St E report 05.03.07

Praise God for a fruitful time of sowing seeds, and reaping His harvest of one soul into the Kingdom of Heaven! Angels rejoices over a soul that accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour! What a glorious night!

Thank the Lord for encouragement and support given by partners who are being paired up to take this step of faith in sharing his word. Indeed, two is better than one, when one shares His Word; the other prays and stands up in times of need. Two youths praised God for the wonderful time of partnering in sharing His Word, where they learnt that being led by the Spirit is the most important thing of all, rather than just storming in to share the Gospel when it is not His time. What a great lesson learnt!

Praise God for wonderful time of sharing to three youths where conviction can be seen even through their eyes as tears nearly rolled down. Thank the Lord for the opportunity to simply bring forth the Gospel to receptive youths and thank God that His Word brought forth will not return to Him void. It is exciting to see how the Spirit of God works even when people seems to be deep rooted in their beliefs, but when Christ, through the Word of God is lifted up, it just speaks and moves hearts.

Heaven rejoices with one soul that was added into His kingdom! Praise the Lord for two sisters (Eunice and Daphne) who went forth by faith in sharing the love of Jesus to two guys, where one places his dependence on Him! It is even more encouraging when the both of them were so interested in coming to church in knowing more about God and His people. Let’s continue to pray for them and may they grow in the grace of God, and be the fruits that abides.

A precious lesson was learnt when one middle aged auntie shared how she’s turned off by Christianity because of a bad experience with a Christian boss. We’re challenged to know that the life that we live speaks much louder that the words that we say. May we continue to be not only hearers of His Word doer of His Word, but doers as well. May Christ be seen in our life, and that we not shame His precious Name. Indeed, as representatives of Christ going out to the streets to share His love, is so important not only to the people on the streets, but to us as we learnt precious lessons on the way.

It was a wonderful and amazing night with seeds sowed, harvest reaped and lessons learnt! May we continue to press on for Jesus, who is worthy of all our praise, and may we truly walk the talk, and be doers of His Word!
