St E report 07.24.08

“Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.” Indeed, the same Jesus who lived on earth few thousand years ago is the same today and forever more! It is always such a joy to be able to proclaim the love of Jesus Christ to people who are willing to hear! Praise the Lord for a young lady ushered into the kingdom of God this very night!

Praise the Lord for bringing Dawn, Rogan, Jessie and Malcolm this night to witness the wonderful and amazing working of our Lord. As we started off we prayer at 6.10pm, the Lord clearly showed Himself strong as He led us to the right ones whose heart are ready to hear of His good news!

Dawn and Malcolm spent their whole night witnessing to a 19 year old lady. It was a blessed time of sharing and she is so ready to accept Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour! The good news brought joy to this lady’s friend as she mentioned that she used to be skeptical in hearing about the gospel, but God changed her heart and she readily accepted Jesus Christ and believe in His completed work on the cross with all her heart! All praises go to our Lord and His Spirit who never fails to work!

It was an encouraging night for Rogan and Jessie as the Lord led them to three girls who heard the full gospel, and one of them was assured of her salvation at the end of it all. Joy can be seen on this lady’s face, and bridges built across the three ladies were so precious! The Lord was good to show Himself strong in the life of a young man, as there was complete liberty in sharing the gospel to this guy. It was clear that the misconception that this man used to have towards Christianity is being cleared, and let us continue to pray that God will unveiled the blinds of this man’s eyes, and for his heart to fully trust in Jesus Christ to save!

It was a blessed night of sharing, sowing, and watching how the Lord directs our paths. It is always so enjoyable to be able to declare God’s love to men, may this be the main business in our lives! Jesus is the same today, yesterday and forever!
