St E report 09.06.07
“But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” - Matthew 9:37-38Praise God for His compassionate heart, and thank the Lord for raising laborers into His harvest field in the vicinity of Plaza Singapura. It has been an amazing night of going out on streets with fellow brothers and sisters He brought in together. Thank God for Lester and Samantha coming out on the streets for the first time, as well as for the rest who came: Malcolm, Dominic, Teresa, Catherine, Abigail, Steve and Jessie. Praise the Lord for all who came!
What a wonderful time for Lester, Samantha and Malcolm to be able to have different opportunities to share the love of Jesus to many people and even for them to witness the power of His Spirit working as there are clear open doors to present the full Gospel! How amazing and encouraging it is to the hearts of our two young teenagers, Lester and Samantha, as they take the first step to come out in the streets to witness and praise Him for the work He had done!
Praise the Lord for two divine appointments as Dominic and Teresa went on their way to meet two fifteen year old girls who readily accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior after hearing the wonderful love story from God! Praise God for heaven rejoices when a soul enters into the blessed kingdom of God. It has indeed been a great encouragement to the hearts of both of them!
The Lord then led Catherine and Abigail to a guy who claimed to be a Christian but still having some doubts in His faith in God. Thank the Lord for guiding them in assuring his salvation by using the Word of God. It has been also a wonderful time for them to give out tracts to people sitting along the streets of Plaza Singapura. May the words in the tracts speak to the hearts of those who read it.
It has been really exciting to be able to witness with liberty to a group of youths! Thank the Lord as He led Steve and Jessie to these four young men sitting at the curb of the steps. There was total liberty and freedom to freely share about the problem we have as humans and the solution to all men-kind through Jesus Christ our Lord. Thank the Lord for enabling Steve to share his testimony to the young youths and the attentiveness they had throughout the long time of sharing. Then the Lord led us to an intelligent guy who is an atheist and insisted the non-existence of God. Praise the Lord for the opportunity to even have the chance to proclaim about the love of Jesus. It was a refreshing time of sharing and thank God for the many blessings He showered upon us.
“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.” -1 Chronicles 16: 34.
Indeed our Lord is good, and let’s always remember to give thanks and glory due to His beautiful name.
-Jess
