St E report 07.12.07

Thank God for a night of sharing and building bridges with people along the streets. Praise the Lord for open hearts and willingness to listen to the love of Christ, the love story from God to all man-kind.

A Polish tourist was sitting by the curb outside Plaza Singapura. He was going back to Warsaw, Poland that very night. Praise the Lord for opportunity to strike a conversation with him. He has been traveling the past eight months! Praise the Lord for crossing our paths with him tonight and the opportunity to share with him about Jesus Christ. A wandering soul so in need of Jesus Christ. This guy expressed his concern in taking flights and what will happen if there’s a plane crash, which is an amazing opening for us to point him to Jesus Christ. Contacts were exchanged for follow up, God willing. We ended with a prayer of protection for him as he left for the airport. May His Word brought forth tonight not return void.

Praise the Lord for meeting people whom we met before and shared with them about Jesus Christ some time back. It is amazing how they still remember the people who shared with them, and may this bring them back to the message of Jesus Christ every time they see the laborers for Him.

Thank the Lord for Divine opportunity to meet two young guys squatting along the streets outside the MRT station. Praise God for their openness in sharing. One of the guys will be going in a rehabilitation center the very next day, and he seemed to have regretted what he had done. God indeed is very gracious and has the heart for all man-kind, especially the broken hearted. Thank the Lord for openness in sharing His Word, about Jesus Christ and His love, and thank God for reassuring both of them of their salvation, as they have accepted Jesus Christ some time back. Thank the Lord for bridges built, contacts exchanged, and do continue to pray that God will bring them back into a loving oneness with Him, a new meaning and purpose in life.

All praises and honor due to His name, who never fails, who is always the same yesterday, today and forever more. May we continue to press on for Him, the only one worthy of all our being.
-Jess
