St E report 02.08.07

Thank God for the wonderful time of sowing the Gospel seeds and reaping His bountiful harvest! Praise the Lord for an amazing time of witnessing on the streets as ten soul winners gathered to be empty vessels for His use and to proclaim His Good News to the crowd.

Although one of the teens were feeling under the weather, with God as our strength, the Gospel was brought forth in simplicity and with His power, a vacationing Filipino accepted Christ on the streets! This thrilled the hearts of the 2 teenagers who were teamed up. Both were greatly encouraged to witness this exciting work of the Lord. Seeds sowed, harvest reaped. The Lord is faithful in His promise.

Praise God for the opportunity for several of us to be able to share the complete Gospel to ready and receptive hearts. Although decisions were not made, it was a blessing just to share the love of Christ to people who never know him. As said in His word, Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, please be praying for those who heard his word to come to know him as personal savior in time to come!

The love of God is evident as doors are opened wide to share his love to a group of ex-convicts. God indeed as a special heart for them and invitation to come to GLCC has been given, do pray for them that God will bring them into His arms in time to come.

Not by might, not by strength, but by my spirit. Lessons were learnt as two non-Mandarin speaking adults met a group of Mandarin speaking Malaysians. Despite of the language barrier, due to the inability to express mandarin fluently, it is never a barrier if a willing heart is evident in the eyes of God. The Gospel were brought across in basic Mandarin and simplicity, trusting God that he will do that convicting work and that His words will not return to Him void. It was an encouragement to both soul winners. Their dependence on His Holy Spirit is evident to all. We praise You Lord.

Praise the Lord for the Gospel shared, one soul saved, indeed His word stands forever.
