St E report 01.16.07
Praise the Lord for a wonderful start to our St E ministry.2 precious souls were added into His Kingdom on the evening of January 4, 07. Thank God for the large number of teens who came out to tract and witness. Their fervor and zeal is unmistakable.
As one dear sister shared, “Thank God for teenagers who are on fire for God with compassionate hearts towards the souls around them. Thank God for their commitment in serving in the Street Evangelism ministry not for self, but solely for the Saviour. The love of God can be seen in their eyes and heard from their hearts as they share the gospel to the various people that the Lord brings to their path. Thank God for Bro Yufei's faithfulness in the Street E ministry and his passion for souls..he has been a great blessing to me personally. Thank God for the many who have heard the gospel..thank God for the 2 souls who trusted the Lord this evening - so precious are these surrendered souls in the sight of God! Praise God for graciously building up and blessing the ministry of Street Evangelism in GLCC. Truly there is no greater honour than to be the instrument in God's hands of leading one person out of the kingdom of Satan into the glorious light of Heaven (DL Moody).”
Fast forward to January 11, 07. It rained cats and dogs the whole day and a lone figure stood under the shelter awaiting the arrival of his co-laborers. Praise the Lord for the 2 teenage girls who came straight from work. The threesome was later joined by 2 other adults. The 5 of us had a wonderful time of sowing the Gospel seed with several people. A couple of them were right on the edge of making a decision for Jesus but something held them back. However, we rejoice in the fact that the Gospel was presented and heard by several.
Thank God also for all the prayer warriors who’re pushing back the gates of hell on bended knees. Some people mistakenly think it’s the evangelists who win souls but the truth of the matter is souls are won on our knees.
It is the work of the Holy Spirit who convicts the listener of the penalty of sin, the reality of hell and the need for a Savior.
Please continue to pray for our ministry and for the Gospel seed to be planted deeply in the hearts for all we spoke to.
In Christ,
malt
